Hollyhocks & Phlox was created when neighbors admired my personal gardens and encouraged me to design/install gardens for them. I then attended DuPage College for Ornamental Horticulture to round out years of practical hands-on experience. The business "blossomed" in Chicago, Boston, Plymouth and Cape Cod. In Western North Carolina I have scaled back services to focus on consulting/education for culinary & ornamental gardens.
